Days Inn on Carolina Avenue Robbed |

News Release
Around 11:15 p.m., Tuesday night police responded to Days Inn, 916 Carolina Avenue, Room 213, in reference to an alleged armed robbery. Officers report that a slim black male and heavyset black female knocked on the door of Room 213 and upon one occupant's opening the door, he was assaulted. The suspects took a small amount of currency from the three occupants in the room and fled the area on foot. None of the injuries were
life-threatening. Police are following up on several leads that cannot be
released at this time and the investigation into this incident is ongoing. If anyone has any information that might aid law enforcement, please contact Washington Police Department 252-946-1444 or Beaufort
