News Release

    Around 11:15 p.m., Tuesday night police responded to Days Inn, 916 Carolina Avenue, Room 213, in reference to an alleged armed robbery. Officers report that a slim black male and heavyset black female knocked on the door of Room 213 and upon one occupant's opening the door, he was assaulted. The suspects took a small amount of currency from the three occupants in the room and fled the area on foot. None of the injuries were life-threatening. Police are following up on several leads that cannot be released at this time and the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
